1.) Are you accredited?

At ESH, we are not accredited, but we take pride in a dedicated team of certified elementary school teachers. Our director is actively pursuing Master's in Early Childhood Education and is engaged with various organizations that align with our mission. To ensure the highest educational standards, all our teachers participate in regular continuing education opportunities. This professional growth reflects our dedication to providing exceptional learning experiences for our students.

2.) What is your ratio?

Our ratio in the 3-5 year old classroom is 1:8. Lower and upper elementary have a ratio of 1:12.

3.) How do field trips work?

Parent involvement on field trips is welcome and encouraged. We do not have a bus and rely heavily on parental participation. We typically have about 3 field trips a semester.

3.) How can parents be involved? 

While we don't allow parents to attend school with their child, we heavily encourage volunteers! We often need extra support for special events and activities. We are a private school and not a co-op. If you're looking for a program where you can stay, check out our Eco Explorers evening class!
